This mixed-use development is located in the heart of Tacoma’s historic Proctor district.  Rush Development continues with this fourth mid-rise residential and retail project, following the success with similar projects in the immediate vicinity.


In total, the 109,000 square foot building is seven stories, with five floors of residential apartments, a ground level of retail and parking, and a below-grade level of parking.  Ninety-eight apartments will be provided.  The project is the first in Tacoma to go fully through the city’s new Urban Design Project Review process.


Ethos Civil carefully designed the sidewalk and corner plaza area to coordinate with existing street grades.  The project frontages are pedestrian-oriented, while simultaneously meeting all codes for landscaping, transit shelter, refuse pickup, and parking garage access.


The project is currently in permitting with an expected construction start date in mid-2026.
