The Neah Bay K-12 Campus progressive design-build project relocates a school on the Makah Reservation to a higher elevation, above the tsunami zone. The new 110,000 SF building will host students as well as district administration, transportation, facilities, and maintenance departments. Site amenities include a greenhouse, salmon hatchery, smokehouse, outdoor kitchen, synthetic turf playfield, parking lot with 140 parking stalls, and two playgrounds. Site challenges include a very steep site, wetlands, and streams. The school campus is set to open mid-2027.
