Mill Creek MS Athletic Field

The Mill Creek Middle School Athletic Field project is a preliminary design for an athletic field and track, stadium lighting, a concessions building, spectator seating areas and gathering spaces, a school bus loading zone, and parking lots.

The project mitigates flood problems due to its close proximity to Mill Creek by placing the track and field and building at elevations that are higher than the floodplain. The project also proposes above and below-ground stormwater detention, stormwater treatment, and flood water storage facilities. The stormwater and flood mitigation facilities have been designed to provide additional capacity for potential future developments near the project site.
