The Genesee replacement project involves the phased replacement of two synthetic turf fields and associated improvements across approximately 7 acres within a 32-acre park site constructed over an abandoned landfill.Improvements include upgraded athletic field lighting, accessible walkways and trails, and the addition of new platform to support the nest of resident ospreys.
Due to complex subsurface conditions associated with the former landfill, Ethos Civil coordinated geotechnical and environmental consultants to support permitting and construction. The project is currently under construction and will deliver new synthetic turf fields with sustainable infill and supporting site and drainage improvements.
