Ethos Civil provided civil engineering services to support the addition of 5,000 additional columbarium wall niches, including a courtyard, flagpole sleeves, seating, walkways, a new 12-foot-wide screened casket bypass road, upgraded stairs and handrails to meet ADA standards, upgraded gates, and expanded stormwater retention pond capacity. Ethos Civil’s analysis determined the stormwater pond could be enlarged in an efficient manner to manage the increased stormwater volume due to additional impervious surfaces. Ethos Civil led the permitting process with Spokane County, Department of Ecology, and obtained all necessary permits for construction and contributed to the SEPA Environmental Review.
