Part of a bundled elementary school package,
the Louisa May Alcott Elementary School project
entails an 82,000 SF school replacement among
an occupied, 11.1 acre site. Situated on an arterial
connected to Highway 202 in Redmond, the project
involves frontage along King County and WSDOT
rights-of-way. Site improvements include a covered
play structure, two play fields, hardscape play areas,
pedestrian gathering areas and walking paths, a
bus loop, a service yard, parking areas, and frontage
improvements. The project is utilizing the GC/
CM method.
Mahlum is the project architect and
Cornerstone is the general contractor.
Construction will be phased, is taking place on an
occupied site, and is scheduled to be complete in the
Fall of 2028.
